Everything it asserted is correct and unchanged: the live GPC node confirms code 64000000, level 1, which is a segment, no parent, and the title Personal Accessories. Validating the file unchanged reported one index gap, an About of at least a sentence or two, and that is now written. This node carries no definition, and neither does its family nor any of its four classes, so the convention of quoting the GPC definition and adding an Excludes heading did not apply and nothing was invented in its place. The About describes the node from its own hierarchy, with every example taken from the brick definitions rather than from general knowledge: the single family Personal Accessories; its four classes, being Jewellery with thirteen bricks, Personal Carriers/Accessories with sixteen, Watches with three and Personal Accessories Variety Packs with one; and what each holds, from anklets, brooches, cuff-links and tiaras through handbags, rucksacks, suitcases, wallets, key rings and personal umbrellas to watch straps and bezels. The third paragraph records three boundaries that the bricks state explicitly, because each is a place where a product could easily be filed here by mistake. The watches brick covers digital and mechanical timepieces but excludes smart watches, along with clocks, timers and stopwatches; I noted that it names no destination for them rather than guess at one. Cosmetics bags and cosmetics storage boxes are excluded from toiletry bags and vanity cases, and here the scheme does name the destination, Cosmetic Aids/Accessories in the Beauty/Personal Care/Hygiene segment, so the About says so. The two personal fan bricks exclude camping accessories and other portable fans, which the scheme places with Air Conditioning/Cooling/Ventilation Equipment and household appliances. It also records where the descriptive text lives, which I checked rather than assumed: all thirty-three bricks carry a definition and an exclusion list, while the segment, family and classes carry none. A References row gpc was added citing the GS1 GPC Browser for publication 286, with [^gpc] markers on each paragraph. Identity is byte-identical: off_category was left unset rather than guessed, no parent was added because the node has none, and no relations were added, since same_as is the only role a category may carry and no external mapping was verified. All thirty-three bricks and all four classes already exist as entities, so nothing needed creating, and no product currently files under any of them. | |
