Everything it asserted is correct and is unchanged - the live GPC node confirms code 14000000, level 1, which is a segment, no parent, and the title Lighting - so this pass added what was missing rather than correcting anything. Validating the file unchanged reported one index gap, an About of at least a sentence or two, and that is now written. Writing it needed the fallback route rather than the usual one: most category pages reproduce the GPC definition verbatim and add an Excludes heading, but this segment returns an empty definition and empty excludes, as do its family and all five of its classes. Nothing was invented to fill that. The About instead describes the node from its own hierarchy, all of it read from the classification: the single family Lighting; its five classes, being Lamps/Light Bulbs/Lighting, Lighting Control Components, Torches/Lanterns/Flashlights, Lighting - Replacement Parts/Accessories and Lighting - Other; and what each covers, taken from the titles of the bricks below them, from bulbs, tubes and LEDs and fixtures grouped by how they are installed, through ballasts, sockets and dimmers, to lampshades, stands, bulb changers and tripods. The last paragraph records where the descriptive text actually lives in this branch, which I checked rather than assumed: the twenty-three bricks carry full definitions and exclusion lists - Light Bulbs/Tubes/Light-Emitting Diodes and Built-in Lighting both do - while this segment, its family and its classes carry none. The text says so plainly, so a reader knows the description is drawn from titles below the node rather than quoted from GS1. A References row gpc was added citing the GS1 GPC Browser for publication 286, retrieved through the server-side fetch so it is verifiable, with [^gpc] markers on each paragraph. Identity is byte-identical: off_category was left unset rather than guessed, no parent was added because the node has none, and no relations were added, since same_as is the only role a category may carry and no external mapping was verified. All twenty-three bricks and all five classes already exist as entities, so nothing needed creating, and no product currently files under any of them. | |
