## About <!--about-->
Bubblicious is a soft bubble gum brand launched in 1977 by the American Chicle division of Warner-Lambert, as an answer to Bubble Yum; sales took off with the "Ultimate Bubble" advertising campaign of 1978 and the brand was later extended outside the United States.[^wiki-bubblicious] It passed with American Chicle through Pfizer, Cadbury and Kraft to Mondelez International, which announced on 19 December 2022 that it would sell its developed-market gum business in the United States, Canada and Europe, Bubblicious among the brands named, to Perfetti Van Melle Group for 1.35 billion dollars.[^mdlz-gum] Perfetti Van Melle now lists Bubblicious among its brands alongside Trident, Stimorol, Mentos and Chupa Chups.[^wiki-pvm][^wiki-bubblicious]
