Aylmer is a Canadian brand of canned tomatoes, operated by Conagra Brands Canada; the company says most Aylmer tomatoes are grown in Ontario and go from field to can within 24 hours.[^conagra-aylmer] The Aylmer tomato products belonged to Del Monte Canada until its sale to ConAgra Foods in March 2012, which also included a manufacturing plant in Dresden, Ontario.[^sun-2012] Whether the name refers to Aylmer, Ontario, or Aylmer, Quebec, is disputed, and the Elgin County archivist found nothing linking it to the Ontario town;[^bulletin-2015] cans print "since 1903".[^pack]
