Zalman Tech Co., Ltd. is the South Korean company behind the Zalman brand of PC coolers, cases and power supplies; the brand's website gives its address as OBIZTOWER 26F, 126 Beolmal-ro, Dongan-gu, Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, and lists Zalman USA Inc. in La Mirada, California, alongside it.^[1] Zalman was established in 1999. In 2011 the consumer-electronics maker Moneual bought about 60 per cent of Zalman Tech, and in November 2014 Zalman Tech filed for insolvency protection in South Korea after Moneual had borrowed against fabricated export data and could not repay the loans.^[2]
