About Wrigley Uno New Zealand
Wrigley Uno New Zealand was the Auckland company that held the New Zealand arm of the Wrigley chewing gum business. It was registered on 20 August 2008 as Wrigley Uno New Zealand Limited, took its shorter name on 17 October 2008, and is recorded as an NZ unlimited company with its registered office care of the law firm Simpson Grierson at Level 27, 88 Shortland Street, Auckland; its address for service was the Wrigley office at Penrose.[1] On 3 July 2009 it became the sole shareholder of The Wrigley Co. (NZ) Ltd., taking all 20,000 shares from the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company.[2]
Its own 7,201 shares were held by the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company, Wrigley International Holding Company and Effem Holdings Limited until 1 May 2018, when Mars Nederland B.V. of Veghel took all of them.[3] The Companies Register named Mars, Incorporated, a corporation registered in the United States under number 456726, as the ultimate holding company.[1] It was removed from the register on 20 May 2018, the same day as The Wrigley Co. (NZ).[1]
