Universal Music Group N.V. (UMG) is a Dutch-American music corporation under Dutch law, with its corporate headquarters in Hilversum, Netherlands, and its operational headquarters in Santa Monica, California.[1] It is one of the "Big Three" record companies alongside Sony Music Entertainment and Warner Music Group, and went public on Euronext Amsterdam on 21 September 2021.[1] It owns the Positiva dance label, which it took over with EMI in 2012.[2]
