Positiva is a British dance music label set up in 1993 by Nick Halkes, who had previously run XL Recordings.[1] Its early releases included Reel 2 Real's "I Like to Move It", and in the late 1990s it issued trance hits such as Alice Deejay's "Better Off Alone".[1] The label belonged to EMI from 1996 to 2012 and is now part of Universal Music Group.[1] Discogs says it operates under Virgin EMI Records.[2] In the UK it issued Vengaboys' "We’re Going to Ibiza!" on CD and cassette in 1999.[3]
