Unico Inc. was founded in Toronto in 1917 by Edward Pasquale to distribute Mediterranean-style foods. After two generations of family ownership and three corporate owners, Sun-Brite Foods Inc. bought it in 1997.^[1] Its site lists the address as 8000 Keele Street, Concord, Ontario L4K 2A4.^[2] GS1 company prefix 0067800 is listed here as derived, not confirmed. No public lookup names who registered it, but the Unico tomato paste can shows a Concord L4K 2A4 "prepared for" address and other Unico articles use the same prefix.^[3][4]
