Unico is a Canadian brand of Mediterranean-style foods founded in Toronto in 1917 by Edward Pasquale.[1] It includes pasta, cooking oils, tomatoes, beans, peas, fish, olives, marinades and rice.[2] Sun-Brite Foods Inc. bought Unico in 1997.[1] It also sells the Primo brand.[3]
