Its legal entity is NEWPRINCES S.P.A., registered at Via Kennedy 16 in Reggio Emilia, with the Registro Imprese number 00183410653 and the LEI 815600511D7D0F6A5955; the register dates the entity to 1940 and records its previous legal name as NEWLAT FOOD S.P.A.[1] It was under the Newlat Food name that the group appeared on the British register: Companies House has recorded Newlat Food S.p.A. as the person with significant control of Symington's Limited since 4 August 2021, with 75% or more of the shares and votes.[2]
