Mondelez World Travel Retail GmbH is the Swiss company through which Mondelēz International sells chocolate, cocoa, confectionery, coffee and culinary products in the worldwide travel-retail trade and in selected export markets.[1] It is registered at Lindbergh-Allee 1 in Glattpark (Opfikon) north of Zurich, with a nominal capital of CHF 5,000,000 and the UID CHE-114.538.944.[1] Its sole shareholder has been Kraft Foods Schweiz Holding GmbH of Zug since 2 July 2019, when the commercial register of the canton of Zurich struck the previous holder, the group's Swiss sales company Mondelez Schweiz GmbH.[1] Mondelēz International, Inc. lists it under Switzerland in the subsidiary list filed with its Form 10-K for 2025.[2] The company is named on the Swiss block of the 2023 Milka Happy Cow 100 g tablet.[3]
Four weeks after that change, on 30 July 2019, the same register moved Mondelez Schweiz GmbH itself under Mondelez World Travel Retail GmbH: Kraft Foods Schweiz Holding GmbH gave up the 198,001 quota shares of the sales company and the travel-retail company took them, so the two Opfikon companies traded places in the Swiss part of the group chain.[4] The register entry published on 26 February 2025 carries the same name, seat, address and capital of CHF 5,000,000, with Joost Wilhelmus Hubertus Renier Rosmuller as chairman of the management and PricewaterhouseCoopers AG as auditor.[5] On the pack, the Swiss block of the 2023 generation of the Milka Happy Cow 100 g tablet reads Hergestellt in der EU für Mondelez World Travel Retail GmbH, with Conaxess Trade Switzerland AG printed as the Swiss distributor.[3]
