About Gernsback Publications
Gernsback Publications, Inc. was the Farmingdale, New York, publisher of the electronics monthly Electronics Now, formerly Radio-Electronics.[1] The magazine line goes back to Radio-Craft, which Hugo Gernsback started in 1929; Gernsback Publications merged Electronics Now with its Popular Electronics into Poptronics in January 2000 and ceased operations in December 2002.[2]
