Feldschlösschen Getränke AG is a Swiss public limited company in Rheinfelden, registered under UID CHE-106.835.541.[1] It is Switzerland's leading brewery and largest drinks wholesaler, has been a subsidiary of the Danish Carlsberg group since 2000, and owns the Rhäzünser mineral-water brand; it has held the Swiss licence for Pepsi and 7 Up since 2022.[2] Feldschlösschen fills Pepsi, Pepsi Max, 7Up and 7Up free in PET and glass bottles at its Rhäzüns plant in Graubünden.[3]
The brewery goes back to 1875, when Mathias Wüthrich and Theophil Roniger founded the Brauerei zum Feldschlösschen at Rheinfelden; brewing began there on 8 February 1876. Through Unifontes it took on the Swiss bottling licences for PepsiCo and Cadbury Schweppes, fully integrated in 1998, and in 2000 the Feldschlösschen-Hürlimann group was split into a property company and this drinks company, which Carlsberg A/S acquired.[2]
