Dubai Refreshment

About

Dubai Refreshment, known as DRC, is the PepsiCo franchise bottler and distributor of the United Arab Emirates. Its factory was established in Deira in 1959 with one line for returnable Pepsi bottles, it was appointed sole PepsiCo franchisee and distributor in 1962, launched Mountain Dew cans in 1982 and became a public shareholding company in July 1994.^[1] The Arabic label of Mountain Dew 1.5 L names it as the bottler, "دبي للمرطبات (ش.م.ع.)", P.O. Box 420, United Arab Emirates, under licence from PepsiCo Inc.^[2]
