Del Monte Canada marketed Del Monte packaged fruit and vegetables and Aylmer tomato products in Canada. It was built from non-core food businesses once run by Kraft and was previously known as CanGro Foods. A Sun Capital affiliate acquired it in January 2006, and it adopted the Del Monte Canada name in 2010.^[1] As CanGro Foods it launched Del Monte fruit in 540 ml resealable polypropylene jars in November 2007.^[2] ConAgra Foods completed its acquisition of the company in March 2012.^[1]
