The Abbaye de Maredsous is a Benedictine monastery at Anhee in the Belgian province of Namur, registered as a Belgian legal entity under enterprise number 0407.585.882 and holding the LEI 254900SOEG1ABGKWU408.[1] The community owns the registered Maredsous trade mark and the recipes of the abbey beers that carry its name, and has licensed their brewing to Brouwerij Duvel Moortgat at Breendonk since 1964.[2][3] A micro-brewery on the abbey site brews small seasonal batches, including the Maredsous Extra sold only there.[4]
