Yeni Raki

About

Yeni Rakı is a Turkish rakı brand, an aniseed spirit made from grape suma, bottled at 45% vol.^[1] Its maker gives 1937 as the official launch date.^[1] It was made by the state monopoly Tekel until the privatisation of Tekel's drinks division brought it to Mey İçki, a Diageo company since 2011.^[2][3] Borco-Marken-Import has distributed it in Germany since 2014.^[4]
