About Tom Ford
Tom Ford is the luxury brand founded by the designer Tom Ford in April 2005, covering ready-to-wear, accessories, eyewear, cosmetics and fragrance.[1] Its beauty line, Tom Ford Beauty, has been made and sold under licence by the Estée Lauder Companies since 2006, starting with the Black Orchid fragrance, and the Private Blend fragrance collection followed in 2007.[1]
The Estée Lauder Companies announced the purchase of the Tom Ford brand in November 2022 and completed it on 28 April 2023 for USD 2.8 billion; the fashion business is run under licence by the Ermenegildo Zegna Group through Tom Ford International.[1]
