About Purina Pro Plan
Purina Pro Plan is a dog and cat food brand of Nestlé Purina PetCare, the St. Louis subsidiary of Nestlé.[1] Ralston Purina marketed Pro Plan alongside Dog Chow and Cat Chow before Nestlé acquired it in 2001 and merged it with its Friskies PetCare business.[1] In 2023 the company voluntarily recalled some Purina Pro Plan dry dog food in the United States because of elevated vitamin D levels.[1]
