M&A Pharmachem is the name M & A Pharmachem Ltd of Bolton put on its own paracetamol, which it made and held the marketing authorisation for under licence PL 04077/0001: British Pharmacopoeia 500 mg tablets in packs of 2 to 5,000,[1] caplets,[2] and the branded Mandanol Paracetamol 500.[3] A 16-tablet pack in a childproof container, EAN-8 50613182, was catalogued in 2007 as produced in the United Kingdom by the company as authorisation holder,[4] and Open Food Facts records the brand on that barcode as "M&A".[5] The brand went with the company, which entered administration on 27 January 2022 with the closure of its Bolton business[6] and was dissolved on 29 April 2026.[7]
