LU is a French biscuit brand. It began as Lefèvre-Utile, founded in Nantes in 1846, and its best-known product is the Petit Beurre.[1] Kraft Foods bought LU from Danone in 2007, and the brand has belonged to Mondelez International since 2012.[1] Mondelēz lists LU among its biscuit brands.[2]
