Kavli

brand

About

Norwegian food brand established in Bergen in 1893 by Olav Kavli, and the group's overarching trademark.[1] Its breakthrough was Primula in 1924, presented as the world's first long-keeping spreadable cheese; spreadable cheese in tubes is still the brand's core.[1][2] The brand also covers caviar, mayonnaise and crispbread, and the group sells in some thirty countries.[2]
