Hidden Beach Recordings is an American independent record label founded in 1998 by Steven McKeever, releasing R&B, soul, contemporary jazz and inspirational music; it is now distributed through Universal Music Group.^[1] Jill Scott was one of its first artists, and her 2004 album Beautifully Human: Words and Sounds Vol. 2 appeared under the label with Epic credited as manufacturer and distributor in the United States.^[2] Discogs lists hiddenbeach.com as the label's site and Still Waters as a sub-label.^[3]
