About Frooti

Frooti is the mango drink Parle Agro launched in India in 1985, the first beverage sold there in Tetra Pak and the brand that opened the country's ready-to-drink mango category; Parle Agro also credits it with the first PET bottle and the first TCA Tetra Pak in the segment.[1] It is sold in 65 mL, 125 mL and 200 mL cartons and in PET bottles from 125 mL to 1.8 L.[1] Wikipedia records it as Parle Agro's flagship product, holding 25.6 % of the mango-drink segment in June 2020, and lists roughly twenty export markets including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates and Ireland.[2] The article on Parle Agro calls Frooti, the company's first product, the largest-selling mango drink in the country, and dates the sparkling variant Frooti Fizz to March 2017.[3]
