Desperados is a beer flavoured with agave spirit, created in France in 1995 by the Fischer brewery and now sold in more than fifty countries.[1] Within the Heineken group the name is held by Heineken Brouwerijen B.V. of Amsterdam, which Polish packs print as "HBBV trading under the name of Desperados".[2][3] In Poland the beer is brewed under licence by Grupa Żywiec, which lists Desperados Original in 400 ml bottles and 500 ml cans.[2] The range was reformulated away from its original tequila flavouring to an agave spirit.[1]
