Daylight Records was an American record label and subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment, operated through Epic Records. It was formed by music executive David Massey as an Epic Records Group label, reached global sales of more than 30 million records, served as an A&R resource for the Sony Music label group and is now defunct; its artists included Anastacia, Delta Goodrem, the Jonas Brothers and Cyndi Lauper.[1] Wikipedia dates the founding to 1998, while the Discogs label profile says late 2000; Discogs lists Epic as parent label and an address at 550 Madison Avenue, New York.[2]
