About Copernicus
Copernicus is Springer's science trade imprint in New York, used for general-readership books on science, technology and medicine rather than for the group's textbooks and monographs.[1] The Library of Congress records the imprint as the publishing agent, with New York as the place of publication, on the 1999 softcover of Nicholas Humphrey's A History of the Mind.[2] Springer itself, commonly known simply as Springer and part of Springer Nature since 2015, remains the company behind the list.[3]
