Chef Boyardee

brand

About

American brand of canned pasta founded by Ettore (Hector) Boiardi in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1928; the name is the phonetic spelling of his surname.[1] Owned by ConAgra Foods (later Conagra Brands) from 2000, it was divested with its Milton, Pennsylvania plant to Hometown Food Company, a Brynwood Partners portfolio company, on 3 June 2025.[1][2] Brynwood describes it as sold mainly in the US, with a strong presence in Canada and Puerto Rico.[3]
