About CeraVe

CeraVe is a skin care brand founded in 2005, whose products are marketed for the ceramides in them and are used mainly for dry skin, eczema and acne.[1] It was owned by Valeant, now Bausch Health, until 2017, when L'Oréal bought it together with AcneFree and Ambi for USD 1.3 billion; it belongs to L'Oréal Dermatological Beauty.[1] Its best-known product is the Moisturizing Cream, sold in several sizes.[2]
