Bounty is a chocolate bar brand of Mars: a coconut filling enrobed in milk chocolate in a blue wrapper or dark chocolate in a red one, usually sold as two small bars in one pack. Forrest Mars Sr. designed it in Slough as an imitation of the Mounds bar, and Mars has made it since 1951. It was launched in the United States in 1989 but did not succeed there.^[1]
