About this product

Coca-Cola Zero Sugar 2 l is the two-litre plastic bottle of The Coca-Cola Company's sugar-free cola for the British market.[1][2] The label names Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Great Britain of Uxbridge as the operator and divides the bottle into eight 250 ml servings, each of about 1 kcal.[1][3][4] The recipe has changed on this barcode: the label photographed in February 2020 sweetens with aspartame and acesulfame K and lists caffeine inside the natural flavourings, while the Morrisons data sheet in 2026 adds enzymatically produced steviol glycosides and declares a caffeine flavouring, as the Coca-Cola GB range page does.[3][5][2] Morrisons sold it for £2.45 in September 2026.[5]

Coca-Cola Zero was introduced in 2005 and relaunched in western Europe as Coca-Cola Zero Sugar from June 2016, with Great Britain among the first markets; the recipe was reformulated again in 2021 and stevia was added around 2024.[6] The 2020 bottle carries a red label with a black ZERO SUGAR / NO CALORIES band, and the ©2021 back label adds an eight-servings bottle graphic and the OPRL "CAP ON / Recycle" mark.[3][1] The barcode sits in the 5449000 block of the GS1 Belgium and Luxembourg range used across The Coca-Cola Company's European packs.[7][8]

  • British label, photographed 2020: nutrient evidence: 16 / 16 · Recorded nutrient rows linked to a source; not the number of nutrients that ought to exist
  • images · unknown: The steviol-glycoside recipe rests on the Morrisons data sheet and the Coca-Cola GB range page; the newest photograph of this bottle's ingredient list dates from 2020-02-23 and shows the aspartame and acesulfame K recipe
  • identity · unknown: Open Food Facts records the manufacturing place as Great Britain, a contributor field; none of the photographed panels states where the bottle was filled, so country_of_origin is left empty
  • packaging · unknown: The 2021 back photo clips the left edge of a recycled-content statement ("…50% recycled plastic." / "…recyclable but not …led plastic."), so the wording is not transcribed
  • relationships · unknown: The licensee of GS1 prefix 5449000 is stated by no public record; the prefix owner stays derived, as on the sibling 330 ml and 500 ml pages
