About this product

La Divine St Landelin is a strong golden beer of 8.5% alcohol sold in a 33 cl bottle, named after Saint Landelin, the monk who founded the Abbey of Crespin.[3] It is brewed by the Douai brewery printed on the label as Les Brasseurs de Gayant,[1] which moved to Arques and took the name Brasserie Goudale in 2017.[4] St Landelin is one of the brands this brewery makes alongside La Goudale.[5] The current label calls it a "3 malts" beer (pale, caramel and peated) and lists water, barley malt, wheat, dextrose, hops and ascorbic acid.[1] An older label, with a 2011 best-before date and a Québec/Ontario deposit mark, listed rice and spices instead of dextrose and ascorbic acid.[2]

The barcode was already wanted on the 2006-2013 Barcodepedia, where it was titled "la divine st landelin".[6] Being over 1.2% alcohol, the beer carries no nutrition declaration.[7]

Coverage & research gaps (9)

Coverage measures the evidence recorded here. It does not rate the product.

  • Identity: 3 / 3 · Name, brand and classification recorded
  • Context: 2 / 3 · Evidence groups assigned to a researched label, edition or analysis
  • Label photographs: 0 / 2 · Researched contexts with an assigned photograph
