Contributor-typed text with no ingredient photograph behind it. It differs from the USDA 2023 statement (instant tea against black tea powder, sodium hexametaphosphate against sodium polyphosphates, and caramel color and red 40, which USDA does not list), so it may be an older or another Brisk label; it is kept here unconfirmed and not normalised into ingredient rows. The observed date is the record's last modification.

A Label Insight record, modified 2023-01-04 and available from 2023-03-16; PepsiCo's SmartLabel page for this UPC was updated on 17 March 2023, but its ingredient tab is rendered by script and could not be read to confirm the list. The observed date is the record date, not a formulation-change date.

About this product
Brisk Iced Tea Lemon 2 L is the two-litre bottle of Brisk's lemon-flavoured iced tea, sold in the United States and distributed by the Pepsi/Lipton Tea Partnership of Purchase, New York.[2] PepsiCo lists it for trade customers under this UPC as a plastic bottle sold in cases of eight.[1] The label promises lemon flavor with other natural flavors and prints about six 12 fl oz servings of 70 calories, each with 17 g of added sugars; the bottle is made by independent producers for the partnership.[3] Its US label record sweetens the tea with high fructose corn syrup together with acesulfame potassium and sucralose, and names Pepsi-Cola North America as the brand owner.[4] Brisk itself is the tea brand of the PepsiCo and Unilever joint venture founded in 1991.[5]
More about this product
The first Barcodepedia listed this UPC in 2007 as "Lipton Brisk Iced Tea, 2 Liter Bottle, 67.6 fl oz", from Amazon.com data.[6] Wikipedia notes that PepsiCo reported Brisk passing a billion dollars in annual revenue in 2012, and that reformulating the line with sucralose roughly halved the sugars in most varieties.[5]

PepsiCo's US trade ordering site lists UPC 012000202377 as Brisk Iced Tea Lemon, 2L plastic bottle, SKU 69437, sold to customers in cases of 8; the price could not be shown when read. PepsiCo's en-US SmartLabel page and the USDA Branded Foods record for the same UPC also place the article in the United States.
A listing is evidence that this barcode is sold there, on that date; a price is what that listing showed, not a recommended price.

- ingredients · unknown: No photograph of the ingredient statement exists on Open Food Facts, and PepsiCo's SmartLabel ingredient, nutrition and allergen tabs are rendered by script and returned no content to either the server fetch or a direct read, so the list rests on the USDA record alone.
- ingredients · disputed: The Open Food Facts typed statement names caramel color, red 40, instant tea and sodium hexametaphosphate, which the USDA 2023 statement does not; with no photo behind it, whether it is an earlier label or another Brisk article is unresolved.
- ingredients · not_researched: No allergen statement was read: the SmartLabel allergen tab could not be retrieved and the label photos do not show one, so no allergen rows are recorded.
- identity · unknown: No source states a country of origin or the producing bottler: the pack says only "independent producers".
- markets · not_researched: No dated consumer price was found: the Amazon.com listing names the article but prints no UPC, the Tom Friday's Market page for the UPC returns no readable content to the server and EWG answered 403.
- relationships · unknown: GS1 does not publish licensees. The prefix owner is taken from company/pepsi-cola-north-america, whose gs1_prefixes entry is derived from a USDA brand owner field; no register names the registrant of prefix 012000.
