Yeast food (イーストフード) is a group of food additives that feed baker's yeast in bread and confectionery, which Japan's Food Sanitation Act allows to be declared under the collective name イーストフード; the nutrients yeast typically needs are nitrogen, phosphate and potassium.[1] It closes the ingredient list of the wafer in KitKat Mini Uji Matcha.[2]
