Vitamin C

About

Vitamin C as declared on a label by the name of the vitamin rather than by the chemical form added. Food supplements and fortified drinks commonly list it this way: the Polish label of the Paola Malina syrup bottled by Hoop Polska names "witaminy: C, niacyna, B6, kwas foliowy, B12" in its ingredient list and gives 12 mg per 20 ml of syrup, fifteen per cent of the daily reference intake, in its vitamin table, without saying which permitted source was used.[1] Where a label does name the form, that substance is recorded instead.
