Tripotassium phosphate, also called tribasic potassium phosphate, is a water-soluble basic salt with the formula K3PO4, made by neutralising phosphoric acid with potassium hydroxide.^[1] It is printed as "Tripotassium Phosphate" in the ingredient list of Cheerios breakfast cereal.^[2]
