Tocopheryl acetate

About

Tocopheryl acetate, also called vitamin E acetate, is the ester of acetic acid and alpha-tocopherol; its two main forms are the natural D-alpha form and the synthetic DL (all-rac) form, and it is often used in skin creams because, unlike free tocopherol, it is not easily oxidised.^[1] "Tocopheryl Acetate" is the INCI name printed in the ingredient statement of Dove Invisible Dry roll-on anti-perspirant on the Dove Arabia page, without naming the form.^[2]
