The collective term a label may use for the mineral compounds added to fortify a food, with the minerals themselves named in brackets after it rather than the individual salts. On the ColaCao jar it is declared as "sales minerales (calcio, fósforo)", so the pack says which two minerals are added but not whether they arrive as, for example, a phosphate or a carbonate.[1] The addition is what the nutrition panel then declares: 128 mg of calcium and 102 mg of phosphorus in 100 ml of the prepared drink, 16 and 15 per cent of the reference intake, though part of both comes from the milk it is made with.[2]
