Matcha is a finely ground powder of green tea made from shade-grown tea leaves, which gives it its bright green colour and umami flavour.[1] KitKat Mini Uji Matcha lists it twice, as matcha paste (抹茶ペースト) and as matcha (抹茶), ahead of green tea (緑茶).[2]
