Inulin

About

Inulins are naturally occurring plant polysaccharides of the fructan class of dietary fiber, industrially most often extracted from chicory; in 2018 the United States Food and Drug Administration approved inulin as a dietary fiber ingredient for manufactured foods.^[1] It is the fifth ingredient of Metamucil Fiber Thins Chocolate.^[2]
