Cinnamon

About

Cinnamon is the last ingredient of Lotus Biscoff caramelised biscuits, printed as "Zimt", "cannelle" and "cannella" on the German, French and Italian label.^[1][2] Spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves came to Dutch speculaas through the spice trade from the 17th century onwards.^[3]
