Brown candy sugar syrup is the fourth ingredient of Lotus Biscoff caramelised biscuits, printed as "Kandiszuckersirup braun", "sirop de sucre candi" and "sciroppo di zucchero candito" on the German, French and Italian label.^[1]^[2] Wikipedia describes the Belgian speculoos that Biscoff belongs to as flavoured with caramelised sugar instead of the traditional spice mix.^[3]
