A minced-meat sauce in the Bologna style, declared on a label as a compound ingredient with its own components in brackets. On the 2018 carton of Original Wagner Steinofen Pizza Bolognese Salami it is printed as "Bolognese-Hackfleisch Soße" (14 %), made of crushed tomatoes, pork (24 %), tomato ketchup, onions, red wine, gelatine, herbs and spices, salt, tomato powder, garlic and other seasonings.[1]
