Beef stock

ingredient

About

Stock is a savoury cooking liquid made by simmering animal bones, meat or vegetables in water; beef and chicken bones are the most common.[1] Many cooks use stock and broth interchangeably, though one common distinction is that stock is made mainly from bones and so holds more gelatin.[1] Beef stock made from water and dried beef stock is the first ingredient of Campbell's Condensed Beef Consommé.[2]
