Purée of the açaí berry, the fruit of a palm that grows in the Brazilian Amazon. It is the base of Sambazon's juices, which are made with organic, fair-trade certified açaí purée harvested in Brazil.[1] On the earlier label of the Original açaí juice it appears inside the compound ingredient "organic acai juice (filtered water, organic fair trade acai puree)".[2]
