Diablo II Ultimate Strategy Guide is a 288-page illustrated paperback player's guide to Diablo II, the 2000 action role-playing game developed by Blizzard North and published by Blizzard Entertainment.[^wpdiablo] It was written by Bart G. Farkas and published in Indianapolis, Indiana, under the BradyGames imprint with a 2001 copyright.[^marc] The guide walks through all four acts and every quest, covers each of the five character classes skill by skill, and compiles the game's monsters, weapons, armour, shrines and items into reference tables.[^nobleknight] The barcode is the book's ISBN-13, 978-0-7440-0105-1, a Bookland number rather than a GS1 company prefix; the ISBN-10 is 0744001056.[^ol] The title is long out of print and sells only second-hand.[^amazon]
BradyGames was then the largest publisher of video game strategy guides in the United States; in May 2006 Penguin moved the label out of Pearson Education to become an imprint within Dorling Kindersley.[^gamedev] Which Pearson company published this 2001 printing is named by no source read here, so no publisher company is recorded.
