This is the 2019 CD reissue of Pressure Chief, the fifth studio album by the Sacramento band Cake, first released by Columbia Records on 5 October 2004.[^wiki] The Dutch reissue label Music On CD issued it as catalogue number MOCCD13704, a single CD of the album's eleven tracks, licensed from Sony Music Entertainment Netherlands and credited ℗ and © to Music On CD and Sony Music Entertainment Inc.[^discogs-moc] The label lists it on its own site with this barcode.[^musiconcd] Profact International manufactured the disc.[^discogs-moc] The German retailer jpc gives its release date as 7 February 2019.[^jpc]
Music On CD is a reissue label founded in 2013 as a sister label to Music On Vinyl.[^discogs-label-moc] Its product page notes the album's heavier use of synthesizer and keyboards and the guest electric guitar of Chuck Prophet on "She'll Hang the Baskets", and says John McCrea again provided the artwork.[^musiconcd] The album was the band's second and final record for Columbia and debuted at number 17 on the Billboard 200.[^wiki]
