The line was formerly sold as Marlboro Lights: after "Lights" and similar descriptors were barred, Marlboro switched to colour names and Lights became Marlboro Gold.[^wikipedia] The 2009 Barcodepedia page for this barcode still called it Marlboro Light.[^archive]
