KitKat White is the four-finger KitKat bar with the crisp wafer covered in white chocolate instead of milk chocolate, sold in a 41.5 g flow wrapper that the label divides into two portions.[^packingr][^packnutr] KitKat was created by Rowntree's of York and has belonged to Nestlé since it bought Rowntree's in 1988.[^wikikitkat] The wrapper photographed in 2017 carries German, Greek and Romanian text, consumer service numbers for all three countries and the Nestlé Cocoa Plan and UTZ logos; it declares white chocolate at 66 % of the bar and 517 kcal per 100 g.[^packingr][^packnutr] Later fronts carry a Nutri-Score E badge and the Romanian line "cu ciocolată albă".[^packfront22] Supermarkets in Greece and Romania and a co-operative in Sharjah list the bar under this barcode.[^efresh][^emag][^sharjah]
A current Auchan Romania listing of a 41.5 g white KitKat describes a wafer in white coating (67 %) made in Bulgaria, with 47.5 g sugars per 100 g against the 51.4 g of the 2017 wrapper.[^auchanro][^packnutr]
